CS Lewis

I have been reading Mere Christianity by CS Lewis recently. He is an amazing scholar that proves that God is real and goes further to explain the basic beliefs of Christianity. And one chapter that I read recently overwhelmed me. He talked about pride. He said pride is the root to all sin. I have never been so awakened to my own pride before. And how much it affects me. It reminded me of another book that I read (Release of the Spirit by Watchman Nee). Watchman Nee said that in order to get the full presence of God we need to realize we are prideful. And admit that to God.
